Resort has heavy laundry needs, UniMac delivers
It’s no secret that UniMac machines are built to last. That’s one of the reasons why so many consumers choose UniMac for their laundry needs. With that in mind, we created the UniMac Longevity Contest and began our search for the oldest machines out there that are still in use. Here’s a story from the slopes of Colorado about a resort still using a UniMac machine from 2004 to keep linens clean and fresh.
Attitash Mountain Village is a 400-plus unit property with just as many (and then some) beds and bathrooms. It also has three pools and a couple of hot tubs, meaning there are soggy towels galore.
The resort has seen an increase in occupancy, which leads to more linens need to be washed with a quick turnaround time. The resort uses a technique called ‘triple sheeting,’ or adding an extra sheet for every bed, which also means more sheets to wash. The UniMac machine from 2004 is keeping up with the increased demand, with no signs of slowing down.
Curious about the winner of the contest? We’ve got a video below and the story here with details.
